The Featherstone Institute was founded in 1989 by Maximilian Edmund Featherstone as a platform for independent field research into behavioural patterns associated with modern executive, financial, and institutional environments.
The Institute remains privately operated and unaffiliated with any university. It prioritises long-form, site-based observation and ecological classification methods derived from classical zoological practice.
Current investigations focus on emergent behavioural clusters observed in both urban and digital spheres. Field observations are being conducted discreetly, and notes are being compiled for future publication.
All classifications remain provisional. Work continues.
The Featherstone Archive is currently undergoing digitisation. Selected entries may become available in the future once formatting and redaction protocols are complete.
No public submissions are accepted at this time.
General inquiries may be directed to Eleanor, who serves as the Institute's administrative liaison.
